How to use
Step 1: Spot the dent and rub it clean with rubbing alcohol to eliminate any traces of dirt or oil that might hinder the adhesion.
Step 2: Choose the appropriate dent-pulling stamp as per the width and depth of the dent. Use multiple stamps to enable proper pop-back.
Step 3: After selecting the rubber stamp, heat the glue gun and apply the melted glue on the designated side of the rubber stamp.
Step 4: Blow on the hot glue once and stick it exactly where the main depression on your surface is to wait until the glue dries.
Step 5: After the glue has dried, affix the dent puller onto the rubber stamp, lock it in place and pull with one sharp movement.
Step 6: Repeat steps 1 to 5 if the dent is still there or is a longer one.
Question 1: Will the hot glue damage the car’s paint?
Answer: No, that is highly unlikely to happen. The silicone glue does not attain such a high temperature that it can harm your car’s paint job. Rest assured, you’ll be able to remove the glue when the dent has been repaired.
Question 2: Can the pulling tabs be used on a thicker metal surface like the metal safe?
Answer: Yes and no. This product works very well on thinner metal surfaces like the metal sheet on a car or a bike. The pulling tabs will not work very well on very thick and rigid metal surfaces, such as in a metal safe or cast-iron structures.
Question 3: Does this tool work on bare, untreated metal surfaces?
Answer: Afraid not. The product’s pull is the most effective over a treated metal surface than an untreated one. This is because untreated metal surfaces tend to has an uneven surface that can hinder the glue binding process, and the force from the slide hammer T-bar will not be evenly spread over it due to such an anomaly of the surface.
