If you love tea, or an occasional coffee, or love those light sips of red wine, you are quite familiar with the after-effects of these said drinks on your teeth.
It's not just your tea or red wine that makes your teeth stain, there are several other food items and drinks also that cause discoloration. Let us take a look at those:

Tea & Coffee a popular and common everyday drink. Needless to say, tea and coffee, along with red wine, happen to be the most common reason for dental stains. Because of the inclusion of tannins in it, tea has a huge tooth stainer.
Red wine is quite a common reason for teeth staining. Being acidic in nature, red wine tends to roughen up the enamel and open up the dental pores. With the enamel getting rougher with each consumption, the overall surface area on your teeth increases, making way for other teeth-staining food items to etch on the surface of your teeth.

Have you ever noticed your teeth after eating a berry? Or the purple hue on your teeth after eating blueberry?
Dark berries are notorious for their teeth staining capabilities. People often tend to avoid Blackberries, blueberries, pomegranates, and other dark berries solely for the dark stain that they leave on your teeth once they are consumed.
Many dentists claim that it happens mostly because of the tiny organic particles that have the capability to penetrate the enamel pores and stick to your teeth. Needless to say, these stains are often persistent.
